At midnight 

She walked into the ballroom 

Under dim light 

Grew the love of the bridegroom 

Glass slippers 

Clicked against the smooth marble floors

Hush whispers 

From kings behind closed doors 

At the altar 

She stared into her lover's eyes

With no falter 

In his eyes was the truth, no lies

The groom declared with a smile
