Anger
Anger
Like a blazing fire,
Or fuming smoke,
At its peak,
Anger sows debacle.
That pent-up pain,
Once exploded,
Annihilates serenity,
Creates hasty hostility.
On deep triggering,
Emotions overflow;
Words turn toxic,
Mouth spits poison.
Words turn into swords,
Homes become war fronts.
Anger rips off hearts,
Spawning wounded souls.
Once hurt deeply,
Not healed properly,
Hurt takes over minds,
Ends up in chronic trauma.
Let's take a vow,
To let go of our rage;
Cultivate the real repose,
Turn hell into heaven!
