An Offence
An Offence
A tiny offence is hidden deep inside the heart,
A smile on my face, yet a conflict tears it apart.
Speaking the truth has become so difficult these days,
To walk on untruthful ways is also an offence.
The mirror asks me daily, locking eyes with my soul,
To lose your own identity is also an offence.
Relationships keep breaking in the fire of selfish greed,
To place conditions in love is also an of offence.
Time forgives many mistakes, letting the moments pass,
Yet, to live in endless regret is also an offence.
Taking up the pen, 'Murali' has finally understood the plight,
To suffer oppression in silence is also an offence.
