An Invisible Dream

An invisible dream 

I dreamt; 

Jumping into an invisible abyss of love 

Taming a harsh invisible soul 

Breathing into me his dulcet invisible breath 

Falling into his warm invisible arms 

Blushing to my romantic invisible words 

Gazing together at the starry invisible sky

Consuming the beauty of the treacherous invisible moon 

Unveiling the reticence of our unsteady invisible souls little by little 

Planting passionate kisses to absorb our invisible agony 

Savouring the deep invisible wounds and scars

Narrating all our dark invisible secrets 

Embracing every scent of the welcoming invisible wind 

Submerging intensely into an undying invisible love...

 

Waking up terrified

In the middle of the night...

To all the invisible versions and visions of you. 

Lost and unprepared

Realising every bit of it 

Was just a hallucination 

Of my darkest phase...

Your tragic thoughts 

Chasing me in my sleep 

But I'll never let them win. 

Loving you will always 

Be in my hardest nightmares. 

An invisible nightmare though!

Cursing the night for dreadful visions;

Discovering that it was all over,

My cloudy eyes felt normal again...

Fighting the demons 

Promising to wake up to a new me 

I dozed off to sleep

Thanking God for counting 

All the blessings in my life.
