An Elegy for a dear Friend

Toworrow the sun will rise again,

 The moon will shine in the night,

But your memories will be full

Of pain,

For your life has switched off

Its light.

You were always there when I needed you,

Your presence a part of my life,

A friend who stood by me always true,

 Your message don't lose heart if there is strife,

Now your memories will stay with me till my end,

Now there is no one to wipe my tears,

I am still feeling you are alive, hiding from me my friend.

 To keep me away from my fears,

So in your memory this elegy I write.

Of your memory that I will share,

Though are you not within my sight.

  I know that you are out there 

 Somewhere,

So tomorrow the sun will rise again,

The moon will shine in the night,

 

Though my memories will be full of pain.

You are still part of my life, to show me the light.
