Always Hidden

Always Hidden

Caught in a golden glow of all the lights,

Yet deep inside is where she hides.

The glory of life is now just a long fight,

Her wishes and dreams are a never ending ride.

Her mind is full, she bites her lips,

Her eyes refusing to leave the floor.

She tries to breath, her heart just rips,

The only support is behind a wooden door.

She goes out to get some air,

All she feels is an empty space.

She tries to let go, but life isn’t fair,

She has a grin, just on her face.

Her heart was full, she used to feel,

Her face just glows, but all’s a show.

A shell of who she used to be,

Is her right now, and to never go.
