Pouring out heart in words

When my soul is in shreds.

Late night, over burdened mind,

Life is unkind.

They ask what not do you have,

"Yes I say, everything a human should have."

But who set this list of requirements?

Despite all, I am not free of confinements.

Alone in the crowd,

Nobody to hear my shouts.

One fine day, someone hold me,

Sit with me, listen to me.

Tears shrieking nights after nights,

Mind fatigued with everyday fights.

The pain of unrequited love and desires,

Trying hard to bury myself in this fire.

No I don't await for anything anymore,

Life, please slow down, don't move, no more.

Let me stay in my dreams, for a while,

One place where I don't fake a smile.
