Age Played Me

It was age that played trick on me

I was promised a world a fantasy

Now I have none

Why the reality so cruel and grim

Everyday lamenting my broken dream

Why am I limited by myself

Can’t I be someone else

Someone not awkward, sweet & plain

I got the world to blame for my lack of shame

I m trying but changes are not in sight

Can't I just be wrong

Why must everyone else has to be right
