Against All Odds
Against All Odds
A story we never think about,
But love that no one ever doubts.
It seems unlikely but its true,
Hope that I can get this through to you.
How can majestic wolf,
Be so deeply in love with the moon.
This is a story as old as the sea,
As deep as the ocean,
We see but we never believe.
The wolf is in love with the queen.
The queen of the skies,
It’s beauty so divine,
Dominating the skies,
By shining so bright.
Once every month,
When the moon’s beauty is at its peak,
It gives the mighty wolf,
The courage to speak,
Because well everyone turns into a love sick puppy,
When they’re in love.
Quivering with fear,
The wolf admits it’s love,
The moon smiles at the mortal wolf,
And with pain admits that their love is not eternal.
Despite this fact the wolf perused her,
Wanting to spend time with its love,
For as long as he could.
Finally the moon caved in,
With a single condition in heart.
The condition was a promise,
To meet once a month,
When the moon was at the peak of its beauty,
Because that how she wanted to wolf to remember her,
If he might not wake tomorrow.
Once every month,
They would share their sweet anecdotes,
They confess the power of their love,
They cherish every moment,
Till it’s time to part ways again.
Every now and then the moon feels lonely,
But the hope of seeing her love,
Keeps her shining.
