A Walk To The Past

A Walk To The Past

The days of slate and chalk are not easy to erase

They hold memories of my childhood

The days of fleeting years are not so precious

But they hold some moments of warmth

Maybe just a peek through the past

Hugged by the emptiness to which now I belong

Throwback of those memories are fresh and new

Like someone touched the deep shore of my heart

Now they've become flitting past of me

Feel of epiphany linger from the old letters I hold

Some bliss are not for lifetime

That's what my old age told

Today is a reunion of old times

The same school, class and friends

Echoing through the corridor

And reliving those bygone days

Adding new pages, creating some fondness

Reminiscing our memory bank

That's still transient every second.
