A Thought Of You
A Thought Of You
I thought of you again and you took me to places
Driving along these lonely stretches
I tried to draw a map of where you took me, was it just in my head?
'Cause I never could. You drive me crazy but this was something else
Held my hands, and walked these desert sands
Whispered a song to the wind, deafening to the walls built inside my cells
Her fragrance, like ambrosia to my senses,
Blinding me to all the darkness there is
All her thoughts would compose a careful symphony
That summoned all the grace and touch of serendipity
And I take a glimpse of her, a romantic inside
Her smile, I imagine, would be the brightest in my horizon.
