Abstract

A Shining Lighthouse

A Shining Lighthouse

1 min 145 1 min 145

There lies buried my past, holding the deepest secrets of my heart,

There lies buried my past, waiting to unfurl those secrets,

But I know once my past unfolds, it will unleash a stream of chaos,

But I know once my past unfolds, it will unbridle a string of stories,

The stories of my lost love,

The stories of my love won,

The stories of lovers’ fantasies,

The stories of lovers’ woes.

Now, as I stand tall like a shining lighthouse on a faraway sea shore,

I know those moments will never be mine again,

I know those moments were the best moments of my life,

I know those moments are now beyond and behind me,

Now, I just wish to be like the luminous waves prancing on the seashore.
