A Reason to Smile

Today while this I write

I finally think I'm moving on with insight

This smile is again reaching up to my eyes

I'm again finding solace in mashup of my darks and brights

These days thoughts nag and gloom me in comfort of night

But now, I actually think it's gonna be alright

I don't know if it's mood swings leading to these frights 

I hope I finally stop caressing from their sight

I hope even in those dark, starless nights

My courage and soul be like the sun, strong and bright

I know these demons will leave my side

All this girl wants is a reason to smile and bundle of insight
