A New Body

A New Body

Sometimes the small beauty we ignore in ourselves

The way we unknowingly move on and replace the memory with someone else

The small gesture like calling name, or the memory of tongue,

The touch, feel or smell

All get replaced

But often we tend to go back and see things for the first time

What changed,

When you saw the person close enough to fall in love

The prolonged conversation, the excitement of knowing

Did it all fall back when you got to know

When the person gave away all including the body?

Did the naked body reveal more to you than the words?

Once you venture with the new

What are you now looking at?

A new body perhaps.
