Down the east, lies this beautiful empire fenced by the triunion of blue,    

Famous for graceful rivers and majestic range;

With secularism in blood; worshipping the moto "Unity in Diversity".          

Oh my friend! Where can you treasure trove a country as such.     

No skygrazing building stand a chance, with the Taj Mahal and Pallava temples held high;               

   Nevertheless the art form got its own say.    

We blessed with a childhood of myths and stories.                         

  Promising a growth of science and tradition coordinated. 

Across the globe unravelled its the significance, with men sailing towards the land;                            

Greeted with a welcome gesture not seen elsewhere.

The strife of great men bestowed us a land of freedom; 

Where the pride is watching the tricolour fly high                               

In the soil of courage peace and prosperity!
