A Guy And His Pet

Centuries ago, the life was rough

People had to have been quiet tough

Wild animals, dragons and dinosaur

Such creatures made people quiver in horror

In those times, there was a guy, not so big

Lived alone, relying on sty of pig

He used to live in dark caves

To stay away from creatures and be saved

He had a pet, dragon, maybe a year or so old

Always hanging around, unknowing of outside world

One day, he went for hunting

Thinking it's a playtime, dragon did following

He went up fast to hunt a duck to roast

dragon couldn't keep up and got lost

He came back happy with dead duck in hand

He waved around while entering cave li'l above land

Only to find his pet missing from there

He panicked knowing that feeble thing wasn't prepared

He mustered his courage to find that poor thing

Went to darkest part of jungle for pet, searching

Amidst all this, dragon pet was scared

Wandering here and there, from roars everywhere around

After an hour of seeking, he found the pet

Confused, edgy, trembling and short of breath

But in between this path, was dinosaur quiet big

Greeny tower with teeth bigger than legs of his

He was looking for that giant thing to move away

But dinosaur was eating having no intention to sway

Still observing his pets condition, he became worried

Thought his pet might move farther away in hurry

So he tried to move towards his pet slowly

But twigs snapped, and the noise rattled dinosaur quickly

Even his pet heard and found his lost master finally

Ran towards him avoiding monstrous thing hastily

Dinosaur's fierce eyes fixed onto him

Possessed with anger, giant roared moving towards him

He knew, he can't match up to this monstrous thing

But still ran towards his dear, with no regretting

Greeny mammoth was in no mood to spare

Flapped his hand around to throw him in air

Dragon seeing that sight, lost his way

Anger overpowered him, he roared that can echo for day

And with this anger, his each breath became fiery

He opened his mouth with fire that burnt dinosaur fiercely

Dragon was not scared anymore, he was sad mainly

And even angry, couldn't realize his potential initially

He lost his master that day

But found how to live and lay
