How I Met The Love Of My Life
How I Met The Love Of My Life

(1)
I met love when I was four
Love came with my father on summer holidays
To see me at my granny’s place
Love was beautiful and lovely
Wrapped in a rectangular packet
Happiness stacked in a shiny orange jacket
Between two rounds
Fluffy, scoopy and creamy
Splash of orangey flavor
Crispy crunchy and yummy
One by one when I broke the two rounds
And scrape the cream in my tiny teeth
I loved my father the most
For bringing me love
I scooped and licked, scraped and licked
Cherished the flavors
I felt love, the love of my life
(2)
When I went school
My granny was not so old
She was lovely nice and sweet
But at times
She was very strict and bold
She knows what I do
How she knows I wish I knew
When school gets over
Love comes to meet me daily at four
In the backyard
Rough wind, hot summer days
Love comes daily at same time
To roam around and play
Some days I pleaded my granny
For a yes
Some days I lied
Sneaked from the blanket and ran away
Knowing the consequences
I went through all emotional
Physical and psychological pain
But made sure I meet my love
In the backyard
To play and catch fish in the drain
Cherished those moments
I felt love the love of my life

I
grew up with love
Singing and dancing, changing the gear
In blink of my eyes I was twenty four
Rain thunder cloudy sky
Weather turned bad
This time somehow love was extremely sad
Falling from hope, failing from success
Love was shaken completely broken
From gaps of windows
Cold wind started to blow
My love was all time low
To Beaches to hill
Long drive to theater
I took love everywhere
Love was quite only crying
May be the pain was deep and love needed time
(4)
Just another day
The storm was over and cloud faded away
Gazing at the cold blue sky
Sipping my morning coffee
I smelled love again
This time love was fresh
Calm and composed
Without any stress
No fear of falling
Love looked wise
Love was talking about
Possibilities, dream, hope and vision
Love was all time strong
Full of wisdom
My love had grown
(5)
Now I am forty
My granny is gone
Parents are old
Friends are away
Family is busy
But my love is standing
Right beside me
Still going strong
My love is not a thing
Not a human being
My love is my spirit
When I fall apart
Love comes to the rescue
When love will be down
I promise I will be there for sure
This is in brief
How I met the love of my life
