A Friend

There are days when I feel a little low,

And all I need is a "Hello!"

From a friend who can make me smile,

And cheer me up for a while!

A rainbow in the sky,

Is a wonderful thing.

But with a friend along,

It gives us a chance to sing.

Doughnuts, candies and cakes,

Are so delicious and yummy to taste.

But without a friend to share with,

Such treats are a total waste.

A small fight and not talking for days,

Not looking at each other;

Even if we cross our ways.

But slowly when boredom strikes,

Its better to talk again and be nice.

Some days we are joyful,

Other days we fight.

Just like the ever changing sky,

Which is not always bright.

No matter how good or bad we are,

Our friendship will never be perfect.

But never lose a true friend;

Is a lesson I will never forget.
