A Flirt
A Flirt
The tiny red bird perpetually chirps
Till I reveal my gloomy face to her
Instantly comes and gives me a kiss
And sings cheerfully on my shoulder.
It persistently gazes into my face
As she exhausts her efforts to explore my inner anguish
And plays with me to give me solace
Despite my meticulous endeavors, my grief doesn't vanish.
He used to come like the cute bird
And started his expedition to steal my heart
He exploited and made me a mad
After digesting soul-shattering pain I forgot the flirt.
Though the bird loves me, kisses me unconditionally
Still, I can't trust it as I am drained emotionally.
