A Day At The Seaside

Once I went along a seaside

The sea was fresh & clean

I thought I would like a dip

So in I went like a queen

As I went in I saw a boat

And I thought within

I’ll swim another day

Today let me just row in

Next I saw a submarine

And Said I can row any day

Today I’ll ride this vessel

Before it goes away 

Then I saw a diving board

But before I could take a dive

I realized that the day was gone

It was already five

I tried to do everything

But my whole precious day went for a toss

I had done nothing 

And the time had flown across
