Why I Like To Read

Everybody asks me the same question

Why I like to read

The simple answer is that

I want to know more and proceed

 

In fact when I read

I feel really brave

I feel like an adventurer

And people I want to save

 

I want to be in boarding school

And enjoy midnight feasts

I want to be strong

And fight scary beasts

 

I want to be a witch

And do real magic

I want to be a real princess

And be so very tragic

 

There are so many more books

That I want to explore

If you’ve never read, you must try

Because reading is the best way to learn more.
