Going over the deep, far, outermost edge, 

You may fall down.

Or up. Or right. Or left. 

You don’t know.


Why fry your brain in trying?

Better stay put and bite 

Into a juicy, succulent, well-cooked leg of life. 

Take a mouthful of the here and the now.


It may be sweet, or sour, or bitter, or quite simply, rotten.

But it’s something to sink your teeth into.

Deeply.
