A Bird Trapped In A Cage

A Bird Trapped In A Cage

A bird trapped in a cage

Should be fluttering and

Chittering at the jungle's edge

Flying here and there in the wood

It has a beautiful world

In a forest with many birds

And animals in green world

Eating fresh fruit hang on trees

Breathe in fresh and cool air

Flapping its wings in rosy sun shine

Sings with cuckoo and flowing river

Flying in flocks in wonderful sky

But now free bird in a cage

Longed to be free and full

Of hope and filled with rage

Sings in a tone that one fearful

When the bird stalks down

In the narrow cage beneath

Tried to fly metal cage hurt

Its wings and trapped its feet

The bird urges its master

Let me fly in the endless sky

Let me spread my wings soar high

Let me get out to the blue sky

Let me fulfill my dream of life

Let me touch the sky so high

Let me wonder in boundless kingdom

Not be cruel withholding my freedom
