Episode 14 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla starts with describing Queen Kaushalya’s personality and psychology. Ram comes to Kaushalya and informs about his decision of going to forest. Kaushalya is shocked. She begins with strong expression of sorrow and recounts how she has been unfortunate all along. Ram tries to solace her. She orders Ram to not go to forest. She tells Ram to stay with her and serve her pleading that serving mother is also dharm. There are long arguments between the mother and the son. At the end, the mother allows Ram to go to forest and blesses him. The blessings are long and detailed. (Ref.
