Episode 27 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla relates to the journey of Bharat to Chitrakoot. On the way Bharat meets Rishi Bhardwaj who welcomes him with caution and expresses doubts about Bharat’s journey. Bharat is heartbroken by the doubts. Bharat assures the Rishi that he is only going to Ram to get Ram crowned as the king of Ayodhya. Rishi is pleased. Rishi extends hospitality to the army and others accompanying Bharat. Next day, Bharat continues his journey. When Bharat’s caravan approaches Chitrakoot, the commotion unsettles the wildlife and birds of Chitrakoot. Ram notices it and asks Laxman to climb up a tree to find out the reason for the disturbance. Laxman sees from the top of a tree that the army of Ayodhya has surrounded Chitrakoot. Laxman thinks that Bharat is invading them. Laxman is furious. Ram calms him down. Ram tells Laxman that Bharat may be coming to see them out of love and not with any ulterior motives. (Ref. Valmiki Ramayan is the original epic which narrates the story of Ram. It is a detailed work which describes Ram as a human being who faced all the difficulties of life. Ram of Valmikiy Ramayan faces dilemmas, discusses with his family and friends, accepts guidance from learned men and suffers hardships. He always takes the right decisions and follows the path of dharm. This series of conversations is intended to help the viewers understand the personality of Ram.
