Episode 26 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla begins with describing the precautionary steps taken by Sumantr and Guh. Ram had begun his new life in the forest with brother and wife. During their first night in the forest, Ram became emotional remembering Ayodhya and all that had happened. Ram advised Laxman to go back to Ayodhya and take care of their mothers. Laxman, however, refused. The next day, they started travelling and by the evening reached the ashram of Rishi Bhardwaj. Rishi invited them to stay at his ashram. Ram refused the invitation and sought guidance from the Rishi about a good place in the forest where they could live for the next few years. Rishi advised them to go to Chitrakoot. Next day, they started their journey again and reached Chitrakoot after spending one night in the forest. In the meantime, Bharat along with the army and all key people of Ayodhya was on the way to meet Ram. Bharat reached the banks of river Ganga. Nishadraj Guh, friend of Ram, suspected that Bharat is on the way to kill Ram. Guh ordered his army on full alert and went to meet Bharat to investigate Bharat’s motive. After meeting Bharat, Guh is convinced that Bharat has no ill intentions. (Ref. Chapter 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 83, 84 and 85 Ayodhya Kand, Shreemad Valmikiy Ramayan)

Valmiki Ramayan is the original epic which narrates the story of Ram. It is a detailed work which describes Ram as a human being who faced all the difficulties of life. Ram of Valmikiy Ramayan faces dilemmas, discusses with his family and friends, accepts guidance from learned men and suffers hardships. He always takes the right decisions and follows the path of dharm. This series of conversations is intended to help the viewers understand the personality of Ram.
