Episode 36 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes in brief the journey of Ram, Sita and Lakshman through various ashrams in dense horrible forest. A conversation between Sita and Ram is the highlight of this episode. Sita is concerned about Ram’s safety. She tries to convince Ram to live a peaceful life and not take up fights while they are moving in the forests. Ram appreciates Sita’s concerns arising out of her love for him. However, Ram mentions about his duty to protect the munis and rishis. Ram also reiterates his promise to the men of learning about saving them from the danavs. Ram says that he can give up his life and even his wife and his dear brother, but cannot think of forgetting his promise or doing dereliction of duty. Ram, Sita and Lakshman spend ten years moving through different ashrams of rishis and munis in the dense forest. They reach the ashram of Rishi Agastya who is known for his killing of some of the most horrible danavs. Ram is contemplating spending rest of his period of forest stay in the ashram of Rishi Agastya but Rishi Agastya has other thoughts. Rishi blesses Ram and gives him some of the most powerful divine weapons. Rishi then advises Ram to move to Panchvati, near river Godavari, and live there. (Ref. Valmiki Ramayan is the original epic which narrates the story of Ram. It is a detailed work which describes Ram as a human being who faced all the difficulties of life. Ram of Valmikiy Ramayan faces dilemmas, discusses with his family and friends, accepts guidance from learned men and suffers hardships. He always takes the right decisions and follows the path of dharm. This series of conversations is intended to help the viewers understand the personality of Ram. After understanding, one can adopt Ram's ideals in one's own life and enrich one's life.
