Curtailed

My heart was beating. I was happy to feel myself. I was filled with the hope of my bright future.

I could hear some sounds as if a train is approaching at the station. Probably some tests were being done on me. I was happily showing up myself.

I could feel some tension around me. Something pulled my leg. I writhed with pain. One by one they tore off all my limbs. I was tormented. The last blow crushed my head.

Doctor announced, “Abortion successful."

They said that they didn't want a girl child.
