Diwali
Diwali
This year's Diwali was the best Diwali of my adult life. The Township where I live was lighted with candles and lamps. No one burst crackers and hence there was no air or sound pollution. I kept my balcony doors and windows open and enjoyed the serenity. And I was happy about this awareness within the masses.
Later I found out that this was because of the Supreme Court's orders and not because of the public's maturity. But I guess the end justified the means. At least this year.
