Rain Kissed Memories
Rain Kissed Memories
Rain makes me drenched in the memories,
Slowly, I get up and start to inhale
A kind of strange aroma,
My eyes are closed,
Heart is musing on.
And I get hypnotised,
I look at the fallen gulmohar flowers,
Rain kissed they shine yet look shy,
I scoop up a handful of red beauties,
Try to understand that their only destination
Is to be soaked in rain,
I find the droplets of rain,
They are proudly wearing
Even after dying to dust,
They tell a perfect story of infinite love,
In no time it flashes the unforgettable stories of Paris and Helen,
Romeo and Juliet,
Antony and Cleopatra,
Leda and Swan.
Then I raise my eyes,
Go down memory lane,
The mesmerizing childhood memories,
Frolicking with paper boats,
Rain drenched evenings
And my mom's special chai and pakoras,
Create heaven with Grandma's fairy tales,
Then the memories start mingling with each other
And gets collided with my thoughts.
The rain-soaked magical moments,
Love soaked drunken heart,
The enchanting rain,
The moody me,
And the rain kissed memories
We fall in love with each other.
