Wandering in the city

Looking dirty

As I lost my way

Searching for prey


People were getting scared

But I was least bothered

As I went further

I saw a girl farther


I thought she needed help

As I heard her yelp

There were many in the queue

But none came to her rescue


When I went near

They ran with fear

The girl sighed in relief

And thanked me in brief


She smiled unlike others

And we became friends

As I helped her escape

By the way, I am an Ape
