A Knight
A Knight
I see you in the wrath of war
And a soul so tireless in the killing,
Like a crusade in the land of the dead
you don't know how to give in.
No mortal can match his courage
But He is not a Devine warrior
Once he was a knight of honour
Now Becomes the fallen codebreaker.
Without wearing a Knight's helm
He held his head high above
Yet no spear could touch him as
He's protected by Shield of Heracles,
An armour so strong and shiny
Nearly blinded his enemies eyes
And a sword shimmers like a ruby
As it is bathed in foreign blood.
All this rage and fire is not for blood
It is all for the greater cause of love.
For the memories of his beloved lad
Strangled by the thread of death,
For the agony of his love unclothed
Suffocated in the fiery smoke.
Which drives him to be monster
It's only pain heals his battle scars.
You take them down one by one
You stand bold in the Battleground,
But a coward's arrow hits his back
It was time for him to pay it back.
At last the merciless journey ends
Where He can finally rest in love,
At last all hunger and pain is gone
As he found love in a New Dawn.
Yet I hear you in the beat of drums
Invoking your ghost for an aid,
Chanting of your daring ventures
To have the courage to face death.
And the wind carrying your name
Also indelible for the withering dust,
Like Alexander, like Achilles
Your bravery will be remembered.
