I saw her in a beautiful morning,
She was dew fresh,
Exceptionally beautiful.
Attired in colourful robes,
Carrying the diverse multiculturalism,
And unity of one nation in her heart.
I listened to her voice,
She was whispering loudly,
The sagas of her triumphs and tortures.
As bright as the letters of gold and black.
The handcuff marks of bygone decades,
Were still prominent, wounds were spotted everywhere.
Now are silent tears overpowering her smile,
Off-springs are fighting on their own free will.
She appeals for peace, in vain distress.
Enough is there, for each one's need,
Do not manipulate her, for your greed,
Uproot the self destruction seed.
That's my beautiful mother,
Our motherland, superior to heaven,
I am a proud child of her and a true Indian.
