Infinite
Infinite
A woman walked up to me and said,
"Can you click a picture of me?
My wife misses me and her city,
It's a been awhile since she's been gone
To fight for our rights and change the norms
It's a difficult time for us, although
I'm so proud of her, I hope she knows."
She smiled wistfully with unshed tears,
Her eyes glazed with memories and longings to bear.
Before it got too much I turned to her and said,
"It's honestly my pleasure to help you,
Please stand there, smile and
There you go!" The camera's click was
My cue to leave, for it's none of my business,
But I told her this,
"Love has no boundaries, they say,
A limitless unbound abyss,
Unrestricted and untamed.
The lens of utter contradiction,
Displaying your world with colours
So loud and beautiful,
Making life worth living.
Etched in the hearts of
All things living and breathing,
Love is infinite.
Cherish and celebrate love."
A few years later, I walked down the same street,
Waving at the couple walking by syncing from beat to beat.
One of the woman spoke up and said,
"Can you click a picture of me and my wife?"
