Summer

Sweaty and rainy summers are my favorite time,

Family get together, laughter everywhere running behind time,

Holidays, vacation, planning, outing makes all fun,

When all make merry, who cares for who's witty or who made a pun,

Carefree life at my grandparents' home,

Their lives get filled up with happiness as do their dome,

Time to relish mangoes, ice creams, shakes, and squashes,

Biggest excitement wins the water park splashes,

No daily routine, no early morning rise, no school fights,

My mom and dad so tension free, no left or rights,

Alas, the days get over fast like a wink of an eye,

No worries they will come again next year what a sigh.
