Desperation

I draw a slender line 

Between depression 

And desperation. 

I've been curing

depression 

With ease while 

Still unsure of 

Desperation. 

It has been showing 

Like freckle on my

fragile 

Impersonation I never 

Hide.

I live parallel to 

Surging and

disintegrating 

Hues of sustaining, 

Positioning amidst 

Destruction.

I resemble into a 

Fixture of canvas kept 

In the corner of a 

Storing room with other 

Undesired scraps, 

Painted with strokes of grime, 

Trying to be a masterpiece 

Amongst the wreck.

I adore myself for a while,

Minding away tactics.

I shrug down the pattern,

With blankness,

Desiring to escape,

Returning to the glare

Of desperation.
