Thank You, Mom!

Thank You, Mom!

How heavy was I, when you did carry?

Wasn't yet born, you started to worry.

The first time I cried, you did smile,

For I know, it was worth the while.

Knew, language I spoke didn't exist,

You didn't get, yet let me persist.

I would wail and you wouldn't sleep,

Even if I fell asleep, I know you'd peep.

Teaching me morals and virtues to live,

The one whom I'd always believe.

Yet, the first day of school you did lie,

Saying you'd be there, but bid bye.

Say me mom how are you so selfless,

Even when my life now is such mess.

Life got busier and I'm really sorry,

Out there, I know you still worry.

I know I still reside in your prayer,

I still love you the same, I swear.

Sorry mom, couldn't be the best son,

Thank you for never leaving me alone.

Was it easy for you to always sacrifice,

Can't repay you, even if I live twice.

Thank you mom for always being there,

And making me the man I'm here.
