The Strange Boy

The Strange Boy

Shallow was his soul but still played a jolly role.

Beyond all commotions, he was actually lost to emotions.

Jolly was he to the watching eyes around,

Laughing at even the smallest of jokes;

Life was all he wanted to enjoy.

Smiling and sprinting around like a kid,

He concealed his unknown scars with mighty wit.

But...

Besides being zippy, he had another reality!

On every dawn he prayed, all to God he said:

"Let the sunshine brighter, so that my scars turn a shade lighter;

No one should see through the thunder, else it would be a blunder.

Queries would form a chain, of questions I don't like to explain. "

But at the end of the day he would ponder;

Why....!?

He was a strange boy so lonely.
