Friend As Per Me

A friend is the one who makes us feel good

Who give us courage when we feel low 

Who can understand us well 

treat us with respect and dignity

The one who has trust on our capabilities

The one who does not need to know our caste, family background, nothing

Because true friendship looks for feelings 

It requires good heart and mind 

A few minutes of meeting and talk is enough

You don't need to be known each other from childhood or school days 

We have to be lucky enough to get the good friend 

Age can never be an hurdle in friendship

 mindset, beliefs, humanity and kindness is required for true friendship

 friendship don't look for monetary status

 it looks for how much loyal you are 

Who helped us at the time of crises ?

Who stood by our side when we were alone ?

Who gave us time to listen to us and never expected anything from us 

Value them who helped us when we needed them 

Only the pure souls can be selfless and unselfish 

Look for a good soul and heart and not just the good face or looks

No need to run after friends to whom you

 were loyal but they were not 

Friends who never cared for you 

Friends who just used you selfishly

Friends who never had feelings for you 

Once we learn to differentiate between the good and the bad 

Who is for us and who is not,

We learn to keep the good friends and never would want to lose them 

Friendships last where egos vanish !
