A Futile Effort To Escape
A Futile Effort To Escape
He was tired of his work
It was getting berserk
Too hectic life had become
Thus, he was finding a way out to run.
Run to a place of tranquility
Resplendent white light falling on him
Lying there in an inexplicable emotion
Reminiscing how soon he has turned old to exhaustion?
Wide awake, he lost in a Reverie
Child inside him, came out lively
As if he had rejuvenated again
As if he had escaped the reality...
Time went still as he gazed
At a world, he wanted to embrace
Soothing effect it produced healed his wounds
But it was only for a moment or two.
Then suddenly, some distant noise created distortion
Oh, look, it was just an illusion
It was just a futile effort to escape
And it rolled down his eyes like an unsaid emotion
Nothing could change, made him restrained
As dejected he was, so he blazed
Grabbed his coat and so he turned
It was his fate, so there he returned
