Immortal's Love For The Mortal
Immortal's Love For The Mortal
One early morning,
when the sun rose from the pillow of the stubborn mountains,
it was moved by the glimpse of a beautiful bud sleeping calmly amid a thorny lap.
Serene was the view,
as the infant rays kissed the sleeping beauty.
But the jealous winds conspired against the naive sun,
compelling the army of fragile twigs to obstruct its view.
The desperate sun craved to get a glimpse of her charm.
As the wicked wind roared on its victory,
the provoked sunbeams wrestled to peep through the thorny canopy,
just to get a glimpse of that mortal charm.

The stern time taught the impatient sun to muster its might,
and prance back at its dismal plight.
As the sun rose above the adamant mountains,
the sunshine ripped the waning darkness,
to establish it's bright kingdom across the sprawling sky.
The monster of sleep which made the bud blind to light,
slowly crept away as the sun increased its might.
As the sweet bud found the bright rays battling the thorny canopy,
it stooped to kiss the white light.
And as they kissed, the bud blossomed into a beautiful flower
that got crimsoned by the juvenile sun.
