Boundaries

Since the first day we cry 

Limits are all set to pave our path 

The decision of a predestined fly 

Made by our society's preconceived wrath. 

The wrath between religion or region 

The war between land and belts of corruption,

The abysmal trends expecting a girl in the household,

The ego a male newborn is pulled ,to never roll tears manifold.

May it be any section of our society,

Sighing in the crunches of slavery,

What had independence brought to our rescue,

When every moment is scarred with an unknowns bonded view.

Can we break the handcuffs of superstition,

The belief that never had a recognition,

Are the uncanny rules worthy to follow,

To sink our mental peace into the depths of hollow.

Let not our self respect be indebted to others expectations,

Let not our self confidence be puppets of stringent regulations,

The ambit we create would add feathers to our wings,

To hail an adieu to bondage of unsung relations akin.
