"Give it a second thought," Mrs. Roberts said stopping the car at Times square, "You will enjoy the party."

"I will not," said Mr. Roberts stepping out of the car, "Pick me on your way back."

Mr. Roberts pulled his overcoat close and took the steps to his office, two at a time.

A hundred meters from him, a van dropped a man. He looked to the sky, slipped his hand inside his shawl, said a prayer and pressed the detonator. That suicide attack of March 22, 1971, killed 175 people.

At the gates of heaven, the soul of Mr.Roberts met with the angel. The angel saw the pain and regret that this particular soul had.

"How foolish I was. I should have listened to my wife. I shouldn't have been there."

Not in a long time had the angel met a soul that was so full of regret.

"One chance, please. Can it be undone?" The soul begged.

The angels had a quick discussion and considering the track record of Mr. Reborts, decided to give the soul a second chance.

"But, if we undo this one choice of yours, everywhere in your life, wherever you had to make a choice, your life will be adjusted to choose the other option." The angels said and sent Mr. Roberts back to Earth.

As the soul traveled to Earth, his life choices were changed for him. First of all, he went to the party with his wife and averted the explosion. But going backward further in life, he chose never to marry. Going still backward, he chose to remain in the army instead of becoming the investment banker. Still going backward, he chose different friends and different school and finally, between the choice of being born in America and Turkistan, the soul of Mr. Roberts had to choose the later.

The life of this baby was now freed from the blessing of the heavens that gave him a second life. The boy grew up strong due to the rough situation of his new country.

When he was 18, he was drafted into a political organization that enrolled the youths. The boy rose quickly in his position and was noticed by his superiors. At the age of 26, he was sent on his biggest consignment.

They took him to America, gave him the equipment he needed and sent him on a van to the Times Square. He stepped out, looked to the sky, slipped his hand inside his shawl, said a prayer and pressed the detonator. That suicide attack of March 22, 1971, killed 175 people.

The soul of the suicide bomber went straight to hell.
