When I Called My Mother Thief!

I am sharing a funny incident that happened years ago when I was a small kid and used to sleep with my mother.

She had that Godrej almirah in her room which used to make noise whenever opened or closed.

It was one such afternoon, when I was indulged in reading a story which was related to a thief who enters the house or something like that, which I don't remember clearly now. So I was reading that story and dozed off while reading.

Maa used to keep her wallet in that same Godrej cupboard and whenever someone asked for money she would take it out from there and give it.

So that day as well, the laundry guy dropped in to ask for the payment. Maa came in the room and opened the cupboard. I was still in deep sleep where my own dream was running so in my sleep I started yelling "𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿".

Maa looked at me and finding me sleeping and yelling at the same time, so she started laughing.

I woke up at the sound of her laughter and asked what happened.

'You dreamt of a thief and called me a thief in real' she replied.

I looked at her in guilt, but she kept on laughing at connection.

It's been so long now and still she pulls my leg with that incident.
