Variation Of Panchatantra Story- Monkey And The Crocodile= 2 September 2020

Once upon a time, there lived a clever monkey in a jungle. One day a crocodile passed by and asked the monkey "Can you give me some apples from the tree?" The monkey agreed and gave some apples to the crocodile. When the crocodile went home, his wife asked him "Who gave you these apples?" The crocodile replied "A monkey gave me these apples because I asked him" The wife of the crocodile had a wicked plan. She decided to trick the monkey and eat it for lunch. So she ordered her husband(monkey's friend) to bring him for a big feast. The crocodile was unhappy with what his wife's plan was, but he couldn't disobey her. The next day, the crocodile swam to the tree where the monkey lived and he called the monkey for a big feast. The monkey jumped on his back and travelled to the crocodile's house. After travelling for a long time the monkey asked the crocodile " Why are we going under the water for a long time, my friend?" The crocodile said, "My friend, my wife has planned to kill your heart and eat it for the feast." "She asked me to take you underwater so you would stop breathing and faint." The Clever monkey heard this and asked "My friend, I'm so sorry but I have left my heart on the apple tree." "Could you please swim back?" "The crocodile dropped him back, and the monkey had tricked him." "The next morning, the crocodile and his wife were swimming to the apple tree. Suddenly, the monkey accidentally fell into the fast-flowing river. The crocodile and his wife helped the monkey, and he was saved! The monkey said, "Thank you, my friends!" In return, they apologised for what they had planned to do. The monkey forgave them and told them it was his birthday. The crocodiles quickly picked berries from the bushes and made a fruit-stacked cake for the monkey. They celebrated his birthday and lived happily ever after.......
