Unforgettable Long Age Love

I sat down at the beach with a shining blue colored diary in my hand. I was writing my next story in it. It was about suspense, comedy and romance types. I was busy with my writing and suddenly I heard a sound from behind,

"Hey, if you don't mind, Can I click your photos?"

I popped out my eyes from my diary and saw an old man standing right in front of me. He looked at me consistently for my reply. He seemed to be between the age of 80-85 years old. He wore a white kurta and dhoti with a small camera in his hand.

"Ok sure, but don't ask me to pose. I can't." I replied with a shy smile.

"Okay. No worry. I just want to make a documentary. For that, I want some photos." He said.

"Okay," I replied.

And I continued with my story. After some time when I looked up from my diary, I could not found that old man who clicked my photos. I was confused, did he even clicked my photos or not? who was he? Why did he want to click only my photos and not others? What was he wanted to do with my photos? But I didn't find any answers. There were lots of thoughts running in my mind. After enjoying the beautiful sunset, I stood up from my place to go home. I walked to the roadside when my car was parked and when I reached there, I found a small note on my car's windshield wiper.

"If you want to see your photos then come at 5, Sun Bungalows tomorrow." I took that note and ran towards the beach but no one was there. Now, that was going to be horrible for me. I didn't know what was going on. I did not have any clue so I took that note and went home.

The next day, it was my birthday. My mom wished me warm wishes. My friends and relatives were there at home for a celebration. After all those happy moments, I looked at the clock, it was 4:30. I got ready for that horrible event and went to the address which was given to me. When I reached there, I saw a bungalow. It was beautifully decorated with balloons, ribbons, flowers and many more. I went inside to find but there was a dark. I looked out for some lights and suddenly I heard a zealous sound in a group,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NISHITA." And the lights went on. My eyes were wide open when I saw some old people and children with balloons and gifts within their hands and a big smile on their face. I was happy and shocked at the same time. And the main thing my mom was also there with them. I saw my last day's photos in which I was at the beach. They were hanging at a wall. The photos were beautifully clicked. I also found that old man who clicked my photos there in a group of people. One small girl came to me and led me to the center table where the cake and gifts were placed. I was confused because I didn't know any single person of them.

I cut the cake and celebrated with them. After that, I asked my mom about them. At that time she said, "This all people are living here because of you." I was confused while looking at my mom, but she continued with "Maybe you don't know but when you were a little girl, you loved to go to the old age home where they lived. You loved to be with them, you loved to play with them, you spent your whole weekend with them at their place. And one day you told me that, "I WILL DO SOMETHING FOR THEM BECAUSE I LOVE THEM ALOT AND THEY ALSO DESERVED TO BE LOVED."

And after your elementary school, you went to the US for your higher education. Later studied in the US, when you got a job and started earning, you transferred money to me. I gave some money to charity. They saved all the money and today they have own this bungalow. This all happened because of you dear." I had tears in my eyes after listening to this. I could not realize that was all happened because of me. That pretty smiles on their faces, the way they decorated whole the bungalow, the way they all treated me like a queen, that was so so special for me. I couldn't express my feelings in words. I was so happy that day. I spent my whole day with them. And at last, my mom told me that, "NISHI, YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT YOU DO EVERYTHING." And I loved that. After that day, Every time when I come home from the US, I bring some gifts and clothes and most importantly, happiness for them.

P.S.:- Do what makes you happy because you will never know the people, who are always there for you and always have your back, praying for you to become a successful and kind person. Be loyal and humble.
