Tyler's Summer

“Whoo! School holidays have started”, exclaimed Tyler. He was so happy that his family and he were not going anywhere for the summer. He thought he could spend his summer playing video games and sleeping. But what he didn’t know that there was a surprise waiting for him at home. As soon as he got home, his father called to his office. Tyler’s father told him that this vacation as they were not going anywhere for vacations, and as his father didn’t want him to play video games, so he had applied for Tyler for ‘The Malibu Rescue' summer program’. Tyler’s father told him too to that program and was also named the rescuer of the year. At first, Tyler thought his father was joking as they lived in the Valley and the Valley had no beaches so that meant no students for the valley. But sooner or later he got to know that this time the official head of the program was accepting students from the Valley only because the mayor told him to. Tyler thought that it was just day at the beach so he happily accepted it. But to his surprise, it wasn’t. The other children's Valley where Gina, the tough girl, Lizzie, a bubbly spunky teen, and Eric, the heart of the group. When he reached there The Valley kids were treated very badly. Tyler then met his biggest rival Brody. Brody hated the Valley team named the Flounders.

He was jealous that the Valley never gave up. Recently, Garvin the official head of the program announced The Crucible for the learners of Malibu. Tyler was just a learner while his rival Brody his rival was a captain of a team Dog Fish. The Flounders captain Dylan trained them really hard for the crucible. Tyler’s only aim was to defeat Brody’s Team the Dogfish. On the final day, Tyler was really ready. The mayor arrived Garvin the official head was the only aim was to prove to that the valley kids weren’t worth it. The contest started, Tyler was riding on an ATV. The Flounders were in lead, Brody was shouting and cheering for Dogfish on his Megaphone. While Tyler was in lead a lady jumped out of nowhere in front of his ATV. The lady pleaded with Tyler and his team to save her son as he was drowning. At a point, they forgot about everything and thought just about the competition and life. Life was important than the competition as they couldn’t be junior rescues if they could not save a life. They got in action and saved a child’s life. The mother of the child didn’t know how to thank junior rescue. Later, they got to know that Dog Fish had won. Also, the Flounders surprise the boy they saved was the son of the Mayor. The Flounders proved they were none less than anyone. That’s why Dog Fish got tower1 and the Flounders got tower2. Now Dylan was proud to be their captain.
