Travel: Unforgettable Journey

Though Travel is a simple journey, it makes a lot of unforgettable memories and keeps us engaged. Since we see and gain a lot of experience while we travel and in further, we realize the world of humans…One such travel made a severe impact in my life and to say frankly it was a turning point in my life…

I was born to a rich and powerful family near Pichanur, a part of the Cholas Empire near the Coimbatore district. My father, Kesava Sastry is a strict and doting father who is very sticky in his decisions while my mother is a simple housewife with a younger sister named Harini.

My father is half-Malayali. He fluently speaks down Malayalam and Tamil while I speak Tamil, English, and Telugu fluently. I learned Telugu by watching movies and through the movies, I learned to speak Telugu…

She and I are polar opposites in the characters. While I am bold and decisive, Harini is an introverted girl, who is very fearful and sensitive. The only person, with whom, I am talking and having a good relationship is my sister, Harini.

Because I am angry with my parents because they didn't allow me to pursue what I aimed and what I dreamt to pursue in my life! Our relationship is strained. Currently, I have finished my IPS exams and is waiting for my promotion order.

Through the money which I earned through my stories, I bought a bike called Kawasakhi Ninja, which I loved very much and I am doing part-time jobs in order to support myself until, the postings are declared for me…

While I was spending time with my close friends, Ashwin and Dinesh, they use to say me that, "It will be very adventurous when I fell in love with a girl and go with her an unforgettable travel." However, I never liked girls and it took a year for me, to shun away my shy towards girls and it's not even a year and just now, I have started to speak boldly with girls…

Now, entered my childhood friend Ishika, my close friend, and Harini's soul-mate. Since, her parents are too busy, with their business schedules, they have left Ishika in my home under myself and Harini's care. She and Harini have planned to pursue post-graduation in Animations in PSG arts college.

I and Ishika are close and thickest friends since 8th grade, the class where I met her for the first time. We became close friends, which will even cause jealousy in my other friends. I slowly fell in love with her but, eventually suppressed my plans to propose her my love, when I learned that she loves my friend, Gokul.

It's in the college days, where I learned that Gokul and Ishika have break-up and she is a bully-mark for her friends. But, myself is a bully-mark in College, which I hoped will get stopped when I enter here, but worse when compared to schools because, Ragging is common when I entered my first-year career, where I met my school friends, Akash and Harsha Vardhan…

For one year, it was nearly a challenging time for us to face our senior brother's challenges. We had a much comical encounters with the senior brothers. Since, some of my friends opposed the senior brothers, they punished my friends comically by applying cakes in their face and making them to do sit-ups…

It's not to say in words. Such a worse tortures. But, we too had memorable and sweet days in the college days especially because of my friends, who made college life a much special and hence our batch is more special, which I enjoyed equally in 10th, 11th, 12th and in College, thanks to the friends, teachers, school and college, whom I choose…

Now, at present, I have planned to go for a long travel to experience natural sceneries. It's a trip for seven days with Ashwin in my special bike Kawasakhi Ninja, which I named Sakthi, because of it's lucky nature. For the seven day journey, we have planned to go to Athirapally waterfalls(For two days), Wayanad(For two days), and For the Papanasam trip(Planned for three days).

To my shock and surprise, Ishika and my sister overheard our conversation to go for a trip. Besides this hurdle, we managed to start for the trip…However, besides this bad habit, Ishika also had done good things for me…She made her time-pass by speaking with me, and too that, I slowly fell in love with her again…

But, a twist occurs in my plan…Ishika demanded me that, she too will come for his trip and I decided to take my Yaris VX car instead of the bike…However, Ishika wants me to take her on Kawasakhi bike and asks Akash to come on my car and she gives him the keys…

I agreed with Ishika and Ashwin tells me, "Dude. All the best, da. It's a golden chance, given by the god…Never miss this chance and propose your love to her at any means in this travel journey…Bye…" and he takes my car…

Ishika sat on my bike, holding my shoulder and I felt nervous and shy when, she touched me and it was at this point in time, I felt the feeling of love and romance. What Ashwin told was right! It's a delightful journey of travel, which is a turning point in my life. It's a different feel of pleasure and joy when I traveled with Ishika…

As we are traveling on the bike, the trees beside us showered in joy, and peoples around us smiled at my bike, considering its luck. When we reached Athirapally waterfalls, I felt like the waters in the falls, is pondering in both of our faces…

After the completion of Athirapally falls journey on the memorable journey of two days, I and Ishika executed our further trip to Wayanad district and this trip also formed as a good and entertaining moment after a long period of time in my life because so many of my trip plans gone to waste due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for various other unavoidable circumstances that followed up in my life…

Wayanad formed a different perspective to both of us where, we saw beautiful mountains, waterfalls, rivers with steep sounds and dense forests…This formed a thrilling and enjoyable moment for me and Ishika…I decided to propose my love in the three days journey to Papanasam and I was unaware that, Ishika too loved me and is planning to propose her love to me…

However, I don't analyze that she is trying to express her love indirectly in many ways because of my weak thoughts about the girls. Ashwin also proved to be funny, entertaining, and enjoying with us in this four days a long journey…He supported me and Ishika, through various means and proved to be a good friend in my life, whom I thought should never miss in my life at any time in any manner.

When I, Ishika, and Ashwin entered Tirunelveli, it was a turning and interesting journey in my life. It is during this point in time, Ishika reveals her motive to come for his trip. She decided to accompany me and Ashwin once after she learned that, the duo has also planned to go for Tirunelveli…

Ishika surprisingly apologizes to me and reveals shocking news to me, which left me and Ashwin upset. Ishika's parent's hometown is near Papanasam and because of the business expansions and developments, Ishika's father shifted to Coimbatore, and eventually, he got settled there. On these occasions, Ishika's uncle, (her mother's elder brother) had disputes with her parents and other family members, regarding the properties and he threatened to murder their entire family members if the property is not shifted to his name.

Since her uncle is a dreaded and dangerous gangster in the cities of Tirunelveli, Ishika's father doesn't know what to do and it is at this point of time that, Ishika revealed about me and Harini and has told to her father that, I and my sister will always be protective and affectionate towards her.

She further told me that, her father saw, how much I loved Ishika and felt happier hoping that, she would be safer and can live happily, pursuing her post-graduation studies, and at these times, her parents and family decide to solve their property disputes…

Everyone will wonder that what I say is not understandable…But, to me also, what Ishika told was surprising and later on, she told me that, "Ishika's father wants me to play a role of her good and caring friend and should never, fall in love with her." This upsets me initially, but when Ashwin consoled me later on, I agreed and moved on to my trips with Ishika and her family…

Still more, Ishika's uncle troubles the family with a corrupt police officer named, Joseph Chelladurai, the Inspector of Papanasam, who has been assured of the 50% shares of the property and hence, he doesn't interfere anymore. Henceforth, I decided to safeguard Ishika's family members and with the help of Ashwin, we took the entire family of Ishika with my father Sasthry's help for the first time after these long years and he felt very happier that I spoke to him after these long years, for which he yearned so much…

This made me realize how much my father could have loved me a lot and how much I have hurt and hated him, these long years. We reconciled settling all the differences…As we are going half-a-way and was about to exit from Tirunelveli to Coimbatore, Ishika's uncle entered with his group of henchman and killed down the entire family members of Ishika, including her parents while Inspector Joseph Chelladurai brutally shoots down and kills Ashwin…

In fear, I and Ishika escaped with a passerby's bike and somehow, I manage to take my Kawasakhi Ninja bike from Ishika's house and we somehow manage to reach Erode district, getting away from Tirunelveli and we took shelter in my father's house until, I am being given postings in the IPS after which, I can handle all the issues…

The last moments of Ishika's father still haunt me and as a result of this, I am unable to have a good sleep…Before dying in my arms, Ishika's father wants me to give her a good and happy life by marrying her and he gets an assurance from me after which he dies…

At times, life proves to be worse and has some turning points which teaches us some harsh lessons…The same is in my life also. This journey to Tirunelveli made me think twice about the mistakes and faults that, I have done with my family members which will take decades to rectify and solve the issues.

My mindset was not satisfactory since I feared for the bad guys instead of thrashing and chasing them away. My mind was a thirst to avenge the death of my close friend, Ashwin since he is just 20 years of age and this age doesn't seem to be a death for him… I was vengeful to kill Ishika's uncle and the Inspector who involved in these murders but, decided to wait until the promotion comes to me…

My other fear is that how to face Ashwin's parents and his younger brother, who dreamed to take good care of his brother and the family. The news of Ashwin's death goes to his family and they are devastated after hearing this and even more, the reasons behind the death and the involvement of Ishika's uncle too are exposed by the news…

However, as since, Ishika's uncle became highly-influential and bigwig in the society, he thwarts the plans and thus eventually, he comes out from the troubles…At this time, I decided to avenge the death of Ishika's family and Ashwin by myself and decides to get the IPS postings as soon as possible…Ishika also eventually agrees to my plans…

Inspector Joseph is now the ACP of Tirunelveli district and it's almost two years that have passed out…I too has settled my differences with Ashwin's family who forgives me since, it wasn't my mistake and it's all a fate…Currently, I was posted as the DCP of Tirunelveli after being posted in Kannur district of Kerala as the ASP under Narcotics branch for one year and in Bangalore as the ACP under Crime Branch and currently in Tirunelveli under Crime Branch with a promotion to DCP…

Joseph is shocked to see me as a police officer and I said to him, "It's all a fate" further shocked him, by showing him an arrested uncle of Ishika's…Hurt and egoistic, Joseph attempted to kill me and as an act of Self-defense and vengeance to Ashwin's death, I brutally finish off Joseph in the same way, by which he killed Ashwin right in-front of my eyes. Now, Ashwin's soul will rest in peace…

While Joseph is killed in my hands, Ishika's uncle is killed by one of my colleagues, when he attempted to shoot me with a police officer's gun, which he forcefully took it from him. Later, after four months, I came to Coimbatore for a vocational leave, granted by my senior police officer and we both embraced each other while, I watched my father tearfully and he smiles at me, implying that he has forgiven me a long days before when talked with him…

The only sorrow that was left with me was, Ashwin's absence, which would have proven even more worthy and his death is a disgracing point for me…I expressed this to Ishika…

She said to me, "You are a real-life hero"

"All just for your sake," I said to her in joy.

"You has been with me during my hard times. Thank you so much!" said Ishika…

"That's all okay. First, you sit in my bike. Let's go for a trip to Palakkad" I said to her…

"Why? What's special on the trip?" she asked me…

I replied her, "It's a surprise. Come with me"

For these long times, I haven't mentioned my name yet, right! My name is Sai Adhithya…This name and Sakthi is the core strength in my life…Now, came Palakkad and I took Ishika by blocking her eyes with a kerchief and after reaching to a particular place, I removed the kerchief…

"Wow…What a nice place!" exclaimed Ishika after seeing the beautiful place…Wondering what's the place! It's a Teak forest, which my Ishika loved a lot since her childhood and now, I turned to Ishika and called, "Ishika."

"Yes Adhithya," said Ishika…

"I love you…It's from my heart…I love you so much…" I said to her and hugged her…

In tears, Ishika placed her hands in my shoulders and said to me, "I love you, Adhithya…"

I cried to her and she asks me a favor. The favor is that I should always be with her, supportive and loving at all times in her life…After that, I and Ishika shared a deep kiss through lips, indicating that, "Our love will never end" which itself is a lesson that, I had learned from my Travel journey to Kerala and Tirunelveli with Ishika and my dead but, still living friend (in my hearts) Ashwin.

Hence, this adventurous and simple travel proved to be worthy and a memorable journey in my life and to say frankly, this was helpful for my love story's success, and in a frank, it proves as an unforgettable journey in my life…
