The Silent Scream

My heart dropped the minute I heard the sound of thunder. 'Come you rain', my soul murmured. The luster in my eyes began to shine as I saw the cloud mixing together in the wavy wind because the time came when two lovers will finally meet. Soon after I saw the beloved leaf on the tree. She began to dance in the happiness of welcoming her lover drop to kiss her softly. I began to imagine their love story that how difficult it would be for a leaf and a drop to meet a while in a year. Though they are very far but their eagerness to meet each other makes me lament.

I forwarded my step close to the leaf. She welcomed me with a bright smile. She narrated the reason of her smile and said that she is happy because she's going to meet her lover drop after a long interval of time. It was so long that she became dry, pale and almost at the last stage of her life but this time she knew that his lover drop will come and once again will make her alive. She grew old with many wrinkles on her body and suddenly she fainted. The cloud thundered, She cried for her lover. The clouds began to dispatch. The rays of sun loosen upon her like sending darts to kill her. Her lover drop saw her from the above sky, vanished in cloud. She was left to die.
