Dual Faces of Snow

It was a chilly winter. The scenario of the town was beyond my imagination. I didn't stop myself from praising the beauty of nature. The road was swaddled inside the snow, the trees welcome the white ball as if they were hugging each other. The white blanket which covered the sky made me fell in love with the Natural World. It seems like the town was painted with white foamy cream. It was so soothing that my heart began to sink. All I can say that I was wordless at the moment.

Old jeans in my legs and a broken camera in my neck, I began my steps towards the heavenly place. I clicked enormous pictures of everything, from a small stick to the giant mountains. I felt that it's like a paradise until I saw a family. A family of 4 members living on a tree in a drop like a nest. To my acknowledge, it was a mother sparrow with her 3 chicks. I came closer in order to catch the best picture but what I saw made me freeze.

In the smoky winter when everyone was enjoying the snowy beauty, A mother lost her two innocent chicks. The same snow which created a paradise took 2 lives. It abducted the whole nest and seized the chicks in a piece of rest. It was a heartbreak for mother sparrow! Though she cannot cry and lament as we people do but her gestures were none lesser than a 'Human Being'. She beaks close to haunch in order to wake them up. She knows that she has lost them but is it so easy for a mother to accept that tragedy?  '

In between when she was struggling with her 2 children, a heavy piece of snow banged from the tree straight towards her 3rd child. It threw her child to the deep harsh ground. The head of d child smashed to a piece of rock. Mother sparrow rushed to the ground but it was late. The chick flung her underdeveloped wings and soon in a minute the blood spread everywhere...

Snow which was a matter of beauty to human, deliberately or undeliberately ruined /killed a family.
